Frequently asked questions

If you have a question we haven’t answered here, call us free on 0800 0122 239 — 7 days a week, 8am to 8pm.

What type of properties do you buy?

We purchase a wide range of properties for cash. Whether it’s a house, flat, bungalow, or ex-Local Authority home, we’re interested. We buy properties in any condition — including those with issues such as Japanese Knotweed or subsidence. The only type of property we don’t purchase are retirement properties, but aside from that, we’re here to make a fair cash offer on almost any home.

How fast will I receive the money?

The money will be transferred as soon as the property sale is agreed and completed, within a time frame that suits you, be it 5 days or 5 weeks.

Will I need a solicitor?

Yes, you can use a solicitor of your own choice or we can find a reliable solicitor close to where you’re living. We pay for all your legal fees, so you don’t have to pay a penny! Please review our important advice page to understand how the Quick Sale market operates.

I’m about to be repossessed, is it too late?

No it’s not too late, we can help, but please get in touch as soon as possible, as the sooner you get in touch, the more likely we’ll be able to stop the repossession taking place.

Do I need to complete lots of paperwork?

We never ask our clients to sign anything. You just need to complete the usual legal documents associated with all property sales, which will be dealt through your solicitors.

Can I change my mind?

Of course. There’s no obligation to proceed once you’ve received an offer from us. You can change your mind any time you’re still feeling unsure and hopefully we can reassure you over any possible worries you may have.

Will I get less than market value?

As a business that buys properties we don’t pay market value. We buy properties at a discount and will depend on factors such as location and condition of the property. We also base our figure on properties already sold in the area and the current market. We will often undergo a drive by survey at our own cost before we give a firm cash offer. Each property is treated independently and we will offer the maximum amount we can.

How long does a quick house sale take?

As we are a fully funded cash buyer, we typically can complete transactions in 5 days. If the property is freehold we can complete within 48 hours, dependent on the speed of your solicitors. If the property is a leasehold it can take up to 10 days to purchase the property. The additional time taken is due to obtaining the management pack from the managing agent. We can complete on a timescale that suits you, whether that be days, weeks or months.

I have a poor credit rating will you still buy my house?

Absolutely! Your financial circumstances won’t affect the sale.

Does anybody have to know about the sale?

No – we offer a discreet and confidential service and the only people who need to know are you, us and the solicitors.

Do I need to tell the repossessors that I am selling?

No, you won’t need to worry about that – we will contact them on your behalf.

My property has been on the market for 6 months or more - will you still be interested in buying it?

Yes! Unlike estate agents/online estate agents we are fully funded and we will simply agree a price with you before transferring the funds to a solicitor of your choice.

Do you charge for valuations and are there any fees, charges or hidden costs?

No – unlike estate agents there are no fees for valuations, and no other hidden costs. We pay for ALL your legal fees on the sale of your property. We will simply make you a free, no obligation cash offer. If the cash offer doesn’t meet your needs, you are free to walk away.

How will we use the information collected?

We collect information about you to process the sale of your property, manage your account and to contact you about services and offers we provide. We may share the information from this website with our trusted sister company UK National Properties Ltd. with whom we have a relationship to perform, or assist us in performing, any of the functions required for the sale of your property, ensuring that they have all necessary data protection policies and procedures in place.
